(Back to Enjoyable Births)

I started having pressure waves in the afternoon, but I was so use to
having braxton hicks, I didn't know if this could be the real thing.
I took a long walk with my 21 month old and when I came back they
were stronger. I called a friend over to watch my daughter and I went
into the finger drop hypnosis while sitting on a birthing ball.
Awesome, by the way. My husband came home around 8:00pm, we drove to
hospital, while listening to Birth Day affirmation. Got to hospital
and I felt what hypnosis was keeping me from, Yikes. I dropped to the
ground, and someone got a wheelchair for me. I hurried up and got the
headphones back on. Got in, sat on the birthing ball, they check me
and I was a 6-7cm . YEAH. I was doing awesome, then they couldn't
get a read out on the baby because of my position, and knocked me
right out of hypnosis. I felt p*** I didn't know existed. Then the
urge to push was there, they checked me and I was complete and ready
to push. I got in the bed, and up on my hands and knees and my body
took over. In three pushes she was out. I think if they could have
gotten a read out on the baby better, the birthing ball and hypnosis
would have made it a breeze. Hypnosis was the key to my successful
and fast labor. All the nurses were so amazed and took my book to
look at it and asked me question. THANKS AGAIN. I will use this
method again.
